A variety of hose is now available to make with the help of the Tudor Tailor’s pattern range: Elizabethan Venetians and trunk hose (pictured) and full-length bias-cut hose with or without slashings (not pictured)
Trunk hose can be made in sumptuous silk for special occasions or serviceable wool for everyday wear
The trunk hose pattern is available in ranges of smaller and larger sizes – now colour coded for ease of use
Choose from four 16th century styles for two dozen or more new buttons to spruce up an old outfit or complement a new one
The Herzog design is based on similarly worked thread buttons on a doublet worn by Moritz von Sachsen-Larenburg (1605-1610)
